KERAFIX® Flexpress 100 is a flexible, intumescent sealing material with an early reaction starting temperature of 140 °C. The material has been specially designed to seal joints and penetrations, thus effectively preventing the spread of fire and smoke. It can be adapted to different geometries and forms a solid insulating layer when exposed to heat. The graphite-based formula provides resistance to temperatures of more than 1000 °C. Furthermore, at 450 °C, KERAFIX® Flexpress 100 expands to up to 35 times its volume, producing an expansion pressure of more than 1.32 N/mm². The combination of a quick start of reaction and high insulation values makes KERAFIX® Flexpress 100 the ideal choice for challenging fire protection solutions.
