Intumescent seals
PALUSOL® W

The PALUSOL® W is an intumescent, wood-effect fire protection seal that has been developed specially for applications that require both mechanical durability and an aesthetically appealing solution. It is made from hydrated sodium silicate enclosed in a thermoplastic profile to protect the material from moisture. In the event of fire, the seal begins to expand at 100 °C, forming a rigid, non-combustible layer that prevents the passage of flames, smoke and hot gases. This feature makes it particularly suitable for fire-resistant doors and closures that require a high level of fire protection. Since it expands in the one direction, PALUSOL W provides a targeted seal. It can be delivered in a variety of cross-sections and lengths to meet specific requirements. For easy installation, it is also available in a self-adhesive version that enables quick and secure attachment.
