FLEXILODICE® GLASS is a flexible, graphite-based, U-shaped seal that is designed to be installed around fire-rated glazing. When exposed to fire, the seal expands to at least nine times its original thickness and forms a uniform, microporous protective layer. The layer prevents the passage of flames, smoke and hot gases through the outer edges of the glazing system. The seal is resistant to moisture and CO₂, easy to install and can be supplied in rolls or as cut strips.
