PYRO-SAFE® B PX 2200 is a black intumescent two-component polyurethane-based casting resin. It is suitable for the production of moulded parts, panels and penetration seals for preventive fire protection.

Properties

    • Two-component polyurethane-based casting resin
    • Intumescent insulation layer forming, expanding 17 to 26 times at 450 °C
    • Resistant to moisture, technical oils, weak acids and alkalis
    • Adjustable processing time from 4 to 30 minutes at +23 °C
    • High temperature resistance in the application range from −50 °C to +80 °C
    • Solvent-free and fibre-free, therefore easy and safe to handle
