FIRESTOP 700 is a specialist, high-temperature silicone sealant developed to withstand extreme thermal conditions. The sealant remains elastic and thick throughout a wide temperature range, usually stretching from -60 °C to +260 °C and sometimes even beyond that. It is particularly suitable for applications in which seals are continuously exposed to high temperatures or significant temperature fluctuations.

Properties

Fire-resistant silicone sealant, tested for fire resistance durations of one to four hours
Neutral curing, no primer required, adheres to most building materials
Absorbs movement of up to ±50% of the joint width
Low smoke development and low toxicity in the event of fire
Excellent resistance to weather (ozone,
UV radiation, temperature fluctuations)
Halogen-free, durable and highly stable in form
