KERAFIX^® Fire Protection Silicone is a specially developed, elastic silicone sealant. It is based on a single-component, neutral-curing silicone. The fire protection silicone has high temperature resistance and can withstand fire for up to four hours. It adheres excellently to a wide range of substrates, including concrete, masonry, steel and glass, without any need for priming. Once cured, the silicone remains flexible and adapts to the movement of building structures, preventing the formation of cracks. It is ideal for sealing joints and penetrations in wall and ceiling constructions, particularly in areas exposed to high temperatures and fire. KERAFIX^® Fire Protection Silicone is halogen-free and low-emission. The sealant is also water and weather-resistant, so it is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
