Fire protection coatings
PYRO-SAFE® FLAMMOTECT-A
A fire protection coating – free of solvents and halogen – which can be used indoors and outdoors. PYRO-SAFE® FLAMMOTECT A is resistant to moisture, freeze-thaw changes, UV radiation and various oils and chemicals.

- Surface protection of thermally stressed components
- Battery enclosures and energy storage systems
- Cable management and cable-adjacent components
- Maritime applications
Properties
- Water-based, solvent-free ablative fire protection coating
- Forms a protective ablative layer in the event of fire to reduce heat transfer
- Suitable for surface protection, e.g. of battery enclosures and thermally stressed components
- Good adhesion to mineral substrates and metals
- Applicable by brush or spray application
- With Type Approval from DNV – approved for use on ships and in maritime applications
